Jeremy Burr
Jeremy is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Spotlight Equity Partners. Spotlight, founded in 2013, is a private equity firm specializing in acquiring enterprise software companies and deploying operational resources and expertise to scale such businesses while improving operations in each functional area. Prior to Spotlight, through the search fund model Jeremy acquired consulting and software company EM-Assist, where he served as CEO for five years.
As CEO, he grew EM-Assist to 150 employees prior to selling it to an Australian public company. Since then, Jeremy has invested in dozens of private companies and enjoys helping the entrepreneurs and operators running those businesses scale efficiently.
Jeremy spent a year studying at the London School of Economics and graduated magna cum laude from Williams College, where he earned a BA degree with Highest Honors in Economics and Astrophysics. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
